    Ingredients: 100 % organic matcha

Cultivar: Oshii blend consisting of Seamidori, Okumidori and Yabukita

The ground green tea from the 1st+ 2nd harvest Ceremonial Grade is grown in Japan in Uji. The region is known for its clean water and nutrient -rich soil, free of pesticides. The leaves of the Tencha tea are picked here, gently steamed and then ground with granite stones.

Our bio -certified Matcha impresses with its almost neon green color, its sweet, creamy Umami taste - free of all bitterness!

Note: Please store cool and dry!

    What is Matcha?

    What is Matcha?

Matcha is powdered green tea in its purest form, but it contains more phytochemicals (color, fragrance, and flavor compounds) and is therefore better than regular green tea. What distinguishes matcha powder is its high content of healthy antioxidants, which are supposed to support the immune system and counteract the aging process. Unlike green tea, where the tea leaves are only steeped in hot water, with matcha, you consume the ground tea leaves entirely. The flavor is therefore more intense.

    Quality guarantee

What does Ceremonial Grade mean and how can you identify the highest quality?

Our Ceremonial Organic Matcha has the highest quality, meaning that leaves from the very first harvest in spring were used. These are particularly mild in taste and differ in quality (taste and color) from all subsequent harvests that follow in the later months of the year. Another quality difference is the hand harvesting and processing. During the harvest of our Matcha, hardly any machines are used. The first leaves are hand-picked, gently steamed, and ground with granite stones.

Cultivation is done without pesticides. Annual soil samples and laboratory tests regarding heavy metal and radiation exposure are conducted to ensure the best possible quality. Additionally, each batch is carefully checked for its mineral properties.

Our quality is confirmed by strict standards of the eco-certificate from the Japanese certification body JONA and the German organic certification.

The traditional Matcha is a little more intense in taste than the Ceremonial Matcha. In fact, I love both of them very much, but still prefer the ceremonial Matcha

In summer I like to drink Iced Matcha latte with our traditional Matcha and a dash of rice coconut milk. On colder days it must be our ceremonial Matcha- pure with warm water without further additives!

Benefits - Matcha as a all -rounder

The fine powder is rich in antioxidants, which not only support the immune system but also slow down the aging process.

More energy, better concentration. Matcha contains more caffeine than coffee. The big difference: Matcha unfolds its effect gently. While the caffeine in coffee enters the bloodstream within 30-45 minutes, this process lasts a full 6 to 8 hours with matcha, which is a big advantage. This prevents high adrenaline and insulin spikes, which only put unnecessary stress on the body. The high amount of L-theanine and other nutrients also positively influence the immune system.

    • production

Our tea arm is a traditional company that has been in the family business for several generations and has been producing organic matcha for several decades.

Our quality is confirmed by strict standards of the eco-certificate of the Japanese certification body Jona and the German organic certification.

    • Cultivation

The tea builders protect the plants with black textile trays or traditionally with straw from the sun. Solar panels are also used. This increases the proportion of chlorophyll in the leaves and makes the taste softer. The extension takes place without pesticides. Annual soil samples, as well as laboratory tests regarding the heavy metal and radiation exposure, are carried out in order to be able to deliver the best possible quality. In addition, each batch is carefully checked for its mineral property.

    • Origin

The cultivation area for the Matcha tea is one of the best and at the same time oldest tea growing areas in Japan: the Uji region, west of Osaka. The region is known for its clean water and nutrient -rich soil, free of pesticides. The right climate can be found on site: the fog from the rivers Uji and Kizu keeps the tea plants moist and reduces the risk of frost damage.
