  • 200 g flour (wheat or spelt)
  • 150 g unsweetened plant-based yogurt (e.g. soy or almond)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 5 g Ceremonial Matcha –to the product
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Some vegan butter or oil (for brushing)
  • Optional: sesame, black cumin or coarse salt for sprinkling

1. Prepare the dough:
Put the flour, yogurt, baking powder, matcha and salt into a bowl and knead into a smooth, elastic dough.

2. Forms:
Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Shape them into balls, then use your fingers or a wooden spoon handle to make a hole in the center and carefully widen it.

3. Spread & Topping:
Brush bagels with a little melted butter or oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds or other toppings, if desired.

4.Baking:
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 20-25 minutes until light golden brown.

5. Let cool & enjoy:
Let it cool slightly, cut it open and top it as desired – done!
