The Matcha Martini is anything but classic – but that's exactly what makes it so exciting. These two versions (Virgin & with alcohol) combine the intense freshness of HEALTHBAR Organic Matcha with almond milk, vanilla and optionally a touch of gin and amaretto. Creamy, slightly nutty and perfect as an aperitif or cocktail for special occasions. The alcohol-free version stands out with mint and lemon – super fresh and wonderfully elegant!

🛒✨ Ingredients for 1 Matcha Martini

🍸 Virgin Version:

  • 15 g fresh mint + 1 glass of water → purée → use 45 ml mint water
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp HEALTH BAR Organic Matcha – mixed with 30 ml water → to the product
  • 15 ml almond milk
  • 10–15 ml vanilla or almond syrup
  • Ice cubes

🍸 Boozy Version:

  • 1 tsp HEALTHBAR Organic Matcha – to the product
  • 30 ml water to mix the Matcha
  • 60 ml barista almond milk
  • 40 ml gin
  • 30 ml amaretto
  • Ice cubes

🧑‍🍳 Here's how – step by step

1. Choose the Virgin or alcohol version
Prepare the ingredients for your chosen version. For the Virgin version: blend the mint with water and measure out 45 ml.

2. Whisk the Matcha
1 tsp Health Bar Matcha until smooth with approx. 30 ml water.

3. Shake the ingredients
Put all the ingredients including ice into a shaker and shake vigorously for about 1 minute until nicely frothy.

4. Serve
Strain into a frosted martini glass. Tip: put the glass in the freezer for 5 min. beforehand.

5. Finish
Dust a little Matcha powder over the glass through a sieve – for that elegant signature look!

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Extra creamy foam: use barista almond milk and shake vigorously – the more air, the better the foam.
  • For more freshness: lightly press the mint leaves (muddle) in the shaker before mixing them with the other ingredients.
  • Matcha on top: sieve a little HEALTHBAR Organic Matcha over the finished drink – for that special look & flavour.
Can I use another plant milk instead of almond milk?

Yes, ideally barista quality (e.g. oat or cashew). What matters is that it foams nicely when shaken.

Do I really have to frost the glass?

No, but it makes the drink much more refreshing and creates that bar feeling – so highly recommended!

Which mint is best?

Classic green mint (spearmint) brings the freshest note. Peppermint works too but is more intense.

What other garnish goes well with it?

A lemon zest on the rim of the glass or a small mint leaf on top of the Matcha foam looks great.
