The perfect matcha preparation
- Add 1-2 bamboo spoons of matcha to the bowl.
- Add about 70–100 ml of hot water (80 °C).
- Use a Chasen (matcha broom), to put the tea in M- or to strike forcefully with W-shaped movements.
- Within a few seconds, a creamy, fine foam forms – ready to enjoy. The heart-shaped spout helps you pour.




Handmade in Portugal
Each Kumo Chawan is meticulously handcrafted in a small Portuguese workshop. The round shape is traditionally modeled and then fired at 1180 °C – resulting in a particularly durable and practical matcha bowl.
The manufacturing process utilizes regional raw materials and resource-conserving methods. Energy-efficient firing processes, recycling, and modern production techniques ensure durable ceramics with reduced resource consumption.
