Our matcha comes exclusively from Uji, Kyoto. The interplay of climate, soil and knowledge passed down across generations gives it its characteristic sweetness, delicate umami and intense color.

Our tea plants spend around 32 days completely in the shade. This elaborate process slows the growth of the leaves and intensifies their chlorophyll and L-theanine content. The result is the characteristic emerald green color and the soft, creamy texture that premium matcha is prized for around the world.

Since 2019, we've had a close partnership with our partner farm in Uji. This long-term partnership gives us consistently high quality, transparent origin and reliable availability – across many harvest cycles.
