🧑‍🍳 Here's how – step by step

1. Blend the stracciatella milk
Blend the plant-based milk together with the dark chocolate in a mixer or blender until the chocolate pieces are fine and „drinkable“ – like liquid stracciatella ice cream.

2. Whisk the Matcha
2 g HEALTHBAR Matcha with about 30 ml hot water (approx. 80 °C) until smooth, or froth it up.

3. Assemble the drink
Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the stracciatella milk over them.

4. Pour the Matcha
Gently layer the Matcha over the milk – this creates the classic layered effect.

5. Topping
Place a piece of dark chocolate on top or sprinkle some grated chocolate over it – serve immediately.

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • The darker the chocolate, the more intense the flavour – we recommend 70 % cocoa content.
  • If you like it sweeter, add a little maple syrup or coconut blossom sugar to the milk.
  • Also delicious: decorate with desiccated coconut or vegan cream.
Can I make a hot version too?

Yes – you can gently warm the stracciatella milk and then stir in the Matcha. Great for cool days!

Does it work with white chocolate too?

Yes, but then the drink becomes noticeably sweeter – dark chocolate harmonises better with the Matcha flavour.

Which milk works best?

Coconut, rice or oat milk with barista quality – they froth well and bring natural sweetness.
