Health Cubes with Matcha Shot

Spicy, fresh, green – your new Morning Shot 💚🧊

These health cubes made with ginger, turmeric, and lemon will freshen your day – but not on their own; they're perfectly complemented by a matcha shot. The taste? Intense, warm, slightly spicy, and then: a creamy, green balance thanks to our high-quality matcha. Ceremonial Matcha. A wake-up call couldn't look any better.

These Health Cubes made from fresh ginger, turmeric and lemon are quick to make, super aromatic and perfect for a gentle start to the day.

The trick: pour hot water (not boiling!) over a cube – and then top it with a creamy Matcha shot. The intense ginger meets the fine depth of our HEALTHBAR Ceremonial Matcha and creates a flavourful, slightly sharp yet mild-green drinking experience.

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Use filtered water for clear cubes
  • Ideal for meal prep – keeps for 2–3 months in the freezer
  • Can also be combined with orange juice, apple juice or mint
  • In summer, serve with ice cubes and cold water
Can I make the Health Cubes without a blender?

Better not – a blender ensures the right consistency. With a grater it becomes too lumpy and sharp. If necessary: use a fine grater + sieve.

What if I don't have fresh ginger or turmeric?

You can also use ground ginger and turmeric – 1 tsp each – the result is a little milder, but works too.

How hot can the water be?

80 °C maximum – water that is too hot can destroy the aromas of ginger and Matcha and make them bitter. Let boiling water cool for 1–2 min.

Can you even taste the Matcha with such intense flavours?

Yes – thanks to its natural sweetness and fine umami note, our Ceremonial Matcha remains clearly noticeable. It balances the sharpness wonderfully.
