  • 1 can chickpeas (drained)
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1-2 tsp HEALTHBAR Matcha
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 3-4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • Salt, pepper & cumin to taste

Topping:

  • Some olive oil
  • Black sesame

1. Preparation Rinse and drain the chickpeas.

2. Mix Place all ingredients in a food processor or high-powered blender. Mix until you get a smooth, creamy consistency. If necessary, add a little water or additional oil.

3. Taste Season to taste with salt, pepper and cumin. If you like it more lemony, add a little more lemon juice.

4. Serve Place the matcha hummus in a bowl or on a plate, drizzle with a little olive oil and top with black sesame seeds. Optionally serve with bread, crackers or fresh vegetables.

  • For extra smooth hummus: Blanch the chickpeas briefly in hot water and peel off the skins (optional).
