Strawberry Cloud Matcha Latte

Soft green meets pink cloud 💚🍓
This iced matcha latte gets its special touch from frothed strawberry milk – fluffy, creamy, fruity. Perfect for hot days and everyone who loves drinks that taste like summer.

The Strawberry Cloud Matcha Latte is a modern take on the classic Iced Matcha – with a fruity extra on top. The “cloud” is made of creamy, frothed oat milk, refined with freeze-dried strawberry powder – the perfect combination of strawberry freshness and Matcha umami.

The green base comes from our premium HEALTHBAR Ceremonial Matcha – as always mild, fine and not bitter.

🧑‍🍳 Here's how – step by step

1. Prepare the Matcha
HEALTHBAR Ceremonial Matcha with approx. 60 ml hot water (approx. 80 °C) until smooth, or froth it up with a Matcha whisk.

2. Add the base to the glass
Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour in 100–150 ml plant-based milk (e.g. oat barista).

3. Pour in the Matcha
Slowly pour the prepared Matcha over the milk into the glass.

4. Froth the strawberry cloud
In a separate container, froth approx. 50 ml barista oat milk with 1 tsp freeze-dried strawberry powder until foamy – using a milk frother or French press.

5. Top and serve the drink
Gently spoon the pink strawberry milk as a “cloud” over the Matcha latte. Optionally dust with a little Matcha or strawberry powder – serve straight away.

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • If you like it sweeter, add a little maple syrup or vanilla extract to the strawberry milk.
  • You can also replace the strawberry powder with real puréed strawberries – it tastes even fresher.
  • Also delicious: add a few frozen berries to the glass – for extra chill & colour.
Do I have to froth the strawberry powder or can I stir it in?

You can also simply stir it in – but for the typical “cloud” look we recommend frothing it with barista milk.

Which milk works best?

Barista oat milk gives the most stable foam and pairs wonderfully with strawberry & Matcha.

Can I use fresh strawberries instead of powder?

Yes – simply purée 2–3 strawberries finely and mix them with a little milk. The foam becomes a little less stable, but super fruity.

Can I also serve it warm?

Absolutely! Prepare the Matcha and the strawberry milk with hot oat milk – it makes a fruity, warm latte with a touch of spring.
