Cleaning and care
To ensure your matcha whisk retains its shape and remains hygienically clean for a long time, please observe the following instructions:
- Clean with warm water only.
- Do not use dish soap or cleaning agents.
- Optional: Soak the whisk in water for 1 minute and froth again without matcha.
- Shake lightly after cleaning.
- Always dry with the struts facing downwards., to prevent mold growth under control

Traditional manufacturing & quality
For manufacturing, exclusively Bamboo that is at least 2 years old used.
- Bamboo is cut lengthwise.
- The inner material is removed.
- The solid outer skin forms 80 fine struts
- Fixation using a strong thread
- The ends are turned and ground.
The result is a robust, smooth chasen, on which fine matcha powder hardly settles – ideal for creamy, even foam.

How do I clean the broom or chasen?
Please clean your matcha whisk only with warm water. Do not use dish soap. Afterwards, shake gently and allow to dry with the tines facing downwards. Matcha whisk holder (Chasen Yasume) maintains shape and hygiene.
Do I need to soak the broom before each use?
Absolutely! Run the chasen before each use. Place the lower part of the struts in warm water for 1 minute., so that the bamboo becomes elastic and does not break.

How long does a chasen last?
With proper care, several months to over a year.

Ich habe den Chasen schon ewig und er ist noch immer voll funktionsfähig. Tipp: vorher und nachher warmes Wasser drüber schütten, damit er biegbarer ist.

Ich habe immer einen Milchschäumer für den Matcha benutzt, aber mich entschieden, das traditionelle Matcha-Ritual auszuprobieren und daher den Besen verwendet. Die Verpackung ist jedenfalls top, und der Versand ging auch recht schnell.

Ich habe den Matcha Besen schon seit über einem Jahr in Benutzung (ich nutze ihn allerdings nicht täglich) und er ist immernoch in einem super Zustand.
Die Handhabung braucht am Anfang etwas Übung, wenn man vorher noch keinen Chasen hatte, aber wenn man den Dreh raus hat, kann man den Matcha super damit whisken und man erhält einen tollen microfoam.
Ich empfehle, eine groß genuge Bowl zu verwenden, da man in sehr kleinen schalen schnell an den Rand stößt.
Klasse und praktisch. Kann man überall mitnehmen und der Matcha lässt sich perfekt damit aufschäumen!

Auch bei fast täglicher Benutzung ist der Chasen immer noch in einem sehr guten Zustand. Er macht den Matcha schön cremig und zaubert einen zarten Schaum. Klare Empfehlung von mir :)

Perfekt zum zubereiten
Der Matcha-Chasen ist gut verarbeitet. Durch die leicht schräge Form entsteht ein optimaler Winkel beim Aufschlagen, wodurch der Matcha schnell cremig wird und eine schöne, gleichmäßige Schaumschicht bekommt. Mir hat die runde Verpackung zur Aufbewahrung oder für Reisen sehr gut gefallen. Kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
Man sollte aufjedenfall diesen nehmen. So ein Milchaufschäumer ist zwar praktisch, aber das feeling ist nicht das selbe😋

Hatte bisher noch keinen Chasen der sich komplett entfaltet hat, außer der von Health Bar! Würde ich immer wieder kaufen.
