💡 Tips & Tricks

  • For more protein: simply blend in some vegan protein powder or soya yoghurt.
  • For a sweeter version you can add a date or a tsp of maple syrup.
  • If you're not using frozen ingredients, add a few ice cubes.
Can I prepare the bowl in advance?

You can blend the base in advance and store it in the fridge for 1 day. Only add the toppings fresh.

Which milk alternative tastes best?

Oat milk makes the bowl creamy and slightly sweet, almond milk adds a nutty note – both are great!

Does the spinach have to be raw?

Yes, ideally young and fresh – baby spinach is mild and full of nutrients.

Can I use frozen spinach too?

Possible, but fresh spinach gives a better texture and a milder flavour.
