✨ Ingredients for approximately 16 pieces

  • 250 g vegan white chocolate or matcha chocolate – with matcha chocolate
  • 2 tsp HEALTHBAR Ceremonial Matcha – to matcha (if you use white chocolate)
  • 40 g puffed rice (e.g. puffed brown rice, unsweetened)

🧑‍🍳 Here's how – step by step

1. Melt chocolate Melt the chocolate carefully over a water bath. If using white chocolate: Stir in matcha powder until well blended.

2. Mix in the rice pops Put about 200g of the melted chocolate in a bowl and mix with the puffed rice.

3. Get into shape Pour the mixture into a brownie tin lined with baking paper and spread evenly.

4. Topping & Cool Add the remaining chocolate as a topping and smooth it out. Let it solidify in the fridge (at least 1 hour).

5. Cut & snack Cut into squares and enjoy!

  • You can also use our matcha chocolate directly instead of white chocolate
  • Optional: sprinkle some sea salt on the topping for a crunch kick
  • Ideal as a gift or snack on the go
  • Stored airtight in the refrigerator will last for about 1 week
Can I also use puffs other than rice?

Yes! You can also use puffed quinoa, amaranth or millet - the important thing is that they are unsweetened and crunchy.

How long do the Nippons last?

They stay fresh in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 7-10 days - but to be honest: they're usually gone quicker!

Can I also freeze the Nippons?
