Ingredients

For the Matcha chia pudding:

  • 250 g plant-based yoghurt (e.g. coconut or soy)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp HEALTHBAR Ceremonial Matcha – to the product
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

For the blueberry topping:

  • 100 g blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tsp agave syrup
  • Optional: 1–2 tbsp water for blending

To serve:

  • A little extra yoghurt
  • Fresh berries, granola or nuts of your choice

🧑‍🍳 Here's how – step by step

1. Prepare the chia pudding
Stir together the yoghurt, chia seeds, Matcha and, optionally, a little maple syrup in a bowl. Cover and leave to swell in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.

2. Blend the blueberry topping
Blend the berries with the agave syrup and a little water in a blender until you have a smooth fruit purée.

3. Layer & serve
Fill a glass in alternating layers of chia pudding, a little yoghurt and blueberry topping. Decorate with fresh berries or toppings of your choice.

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • For extra creaminess: use 50% yoghurt + 50% plant-based milk
  • You can also vary the recipe with raspberries or strawberries
  • Sift the Matcha beforehand for a finer result
  • Meal-prep friendly: keeps in the fridge for 2–3 days
Can I use other plant-based yoghurts too?

Yes! Coconut, almond or soy yoghurt work particularly well. Just make sure it isn't too thin – otherwise the chia pudding won't set firmly enough.

Can I leave out the Matcha?

Of course – but then you'll miss the special aroma and the lovely colour effect. Our Ceremonial Matcha rounds off the flavour perfectly and adds that certain something.

Can I use frozen berries?

Yes! Just let them thaw briefly or blend them straight away. Frozen berries even make the topping particularly refreshing.

How long does the chia pudding keep?

Sealed airtight in the fridge for approx. 2–3 days. It's best to layer it fresh so the textures are preserved.

What else goes well as a topping?

Granola, nut butter, desiccated coconut or a piece of Matcha chocolate make your chia pudding even more special.
