💡 Tips & Tricks

  • For extra green color, be sure to use high quality Ceremonial Matcha.
  • You can also sprinkle chopped pistachios or roasted almonds on the dough.
  • The Greenies are easy to freeze - simply pack them in an airtight container.
Can I also use other plant milks?

Yes, you can also use almond, soy or rice milk - the only important thing is that it is unsweetened so that the dough does not become too sweet.

How intense does the matcha taste?

That depends on the dosage – with 2 tsp HEALTHBAR Ceremonial Matcha It tastes delicately nutty and slightly tart. For matcha fans, use 3 teaspoons.

Can I use regular chocolate instead of white?

Technically yes - but the typical Matcha Greenie look and the interaction with the white chocolate are somewhat lost. If you want, try ours Organic matcha chocolate As a topping!

What can I replace the apple pulp with?

For example with mashed banana or vegan yoghurt - both provide juiciness but have a slightly different taste.
