Each bowl is carefully handcrafted in our workshops in Portugal. A one-time high-temperature firing at up to 1180°C creates a robust, fully vitrified surface that's resistant to heat, scratches, and wear. This makes the chawan perfect for everyday use.

The glaze Cocoa Haze impresses with its warm, earthy tones and unique color gradients. Thanks to the reactive glazing technique, each bowl is a Unique with a distinctive character – perfect for adding a special, natural touch to your matcha ritual.

The perfect matcha preparation

  1. Add 1-2 bamboo spoons of matcha to the bowl.
  2. Add about 70–100 ml of hot water (80 °C).
  3. Use a Chasen (matcha broom), to put the tea in M- or to strike forcefully with W-shaped movements.
  4. Within a few seconds, a creamy, fine foam forms – ready to enjoy. The heart-shaped spout helps you pour.
